A sham

I am not a person who objects to taxes, or a wardens` fine if I am at fault. I am not even against the Nationalist government because of some problem with the Planning Authority such as the illegal boathouses.

However, I am furious at the PN administration for proposing such a shameful arms White Paper, which promises a lot but delivers practically nothing!

After going through the White Paper, I realised that while it recognises target shooting enthusiasts by providing for a specific licence, it then places all centrefire handguns and rifles under the prohibited list. The whole exercise is a sham!

I feel that my government is trying to take me for a ride about joining the EU. I am adamant in voting No in the EU referendum if I am not trusted to enjoy the full opportunities that fellow shooters in most EU member states have.

If my government does not trust me, I cannot trust my government!
