Two men are expected to be charged with drug offences following two separate raids by the police drug squad earlier this week, the police said.

The police said that a 21-year-old man was arrested after he was found in possession of cannabis resin during a search. The police did not say where the arrest was made.

The raid was carried out after the youth was observed by members of the drug squad.

In another raid in Zurrieq, the police seized heroin and cannabis resin and arrested a 30-year-old man.
