Bank of Valletta is a founding sponsor of ActionBase, a project of the theatrical companies Groups for Human Encounters and Teatru Marta Kwitt in collaboration with the international brain research programme xHCA.
The bank`s sponsorship was presented by Igino Xuereb, BOV`s chief officer, retail banking, to John Schranz on behalf of ActionBase.
The bank`s collaboration with ActionBase goes further than the sponsorship and BOV will benefit from a specific training programme which seeks to enhance employee creativity, Mr Xuereb said.
He said that the bank had received a very good response to this initiative and there are over 70 employees who have applied to follow this training programme that will be run by Groups for Human Encounter and the xHCA research programme.
Dr Schranz said that with BOV`s contribution, ActionBase had installed a suspended wooden floor covering 110 square metres in the main hall of its research studio at Naxxar.
